Who we are looking for

We are looking for a a Senior Fund Accounting Manager, AVP who will be responsible for managing a team that performs Centralized Pricing on behalf of our clients. Functions performed could include: security master modelling, client onboarding, PMO oversight, client query resolution and security valuations. Candidate will work across all Shared Service remits supporting wider AIS Middle Office and Accounting teams.

What you will be responsible for

As a Senior Fund Accounting Manager, AVP you will:

  • Manage day-to-day tasks and ensure client deliverables are completed and accurate.

  • Liaise with client regarding ad hoc issues, establish and maintain relationships with client, vendors and various SST service teams.

  • Co-ordinate system enhancements or new requirements on behalf of the team.  Responsible for the co-ordination of system testing and sign off.

  • Engage with multiple stakeholders in managing strategic projects that bring cohesive end-to-end solutions to our clients. Strategically look to customize our service offering in a way that optimizes the proposed operating model.

  • Supporting the Shared Services team lead in their role.  Ensure lead is kept up to date with relevant issues, escalating problems to the manager as they arise.

  • Involved in new client take-on, initialization of funds, new team building, etc.

  • People management – Interviewing, perform staff appraisals; address any staff performance issues, etc.

  • Oversight of staff and functions in Offshore locations (Poland/India/China).

  • Manage training needs of team, ensure training gaps are identified and addressed.

 

What we value

Skills/Knowledge:  

  • In depth knowledge of some/all of the following products: Equity, Futures, Options, Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives (IRS, CDS, TRS, etc)

  • Experience interfacing with security valuation agents like Markit PV, BVAL, ICE Data, JPM Pricing Direct

  • IT Literate – VBA experience a plus

  • Strong verbal, analytical and written communication skills

  • Experience with Advent Geneva Platform advantageous  

  • Experience working in a virtual team environment

 

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Finance or Business related area

  • 8+ years middle office/operations experience preferred

Minimum Salary:

zł182 004 Annual

The minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.​

Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.​

In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.​
