Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Associate at Mold Masters is responsible for accurately receiving, storing, issuing, and managing materials and supplies within the warehouse. This role ensures precise inventory control, maintains organized storage areas, and supports overall warehouse efficiency, safety, and data integrity through effective ERP system management. The Warehouse Associate collaborates closely with the Warehouse Supervisor and logistics team to facilitate smooth operations, including courier coordination and shipment handling.
Key Responsibilities:
Receiving & Inspection: Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies, verifying quantities and quality against purchase orders and delivery notes, and inputting data into the ERP system.
Storage & Organization: Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper handling, storage conditions, and adherence to safety standards. Maintain a clean, organized storage environment for easy access and inventory accuracy.
Issuance & Distribution: Issue materials and supplies to production, maintenance, or other departments as required, maintaining accurate records within the ERP system.
Inventory Control: Conduct regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconcile discrepancies promptly to ensure inventory accuracy.
ERP System Management: Update and maintain accurate inventory data within the ERP system, including receipts, issues, stock levels, and location tracking.
Courier & Logistics Coordination: Assist in scheduling and coordinating courier pickups and deliveries, tracking shipments, and resolving any issues related to transportation.
Safety & Compliance: Follow safety protocols during material handling, loading, and unloading activities to prevent damage and accidents.
Material Handling & Documentation: Properly handle, store, and document hazardous or sensitive materials, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, damaged or expired materials, and shipment documentation.
Support & Collaboration: Assist warehouse team in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment. Support loading/unloading activities as needed.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements in inventory management, storage practices, and warehouse workflows.
Packaging and Labeling: Prepare items for shipment by packaging, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation for outgoing goods.
Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and shelving units to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
Order Picking: Select and gather items from storage based on order requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Loading & Unloading: Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring materials are handled safely and efficiently.
Stock Replenishment: Restock shelves and storage areas regularly to prevent stockouts and ensure availability of materials.
Waste Management: Manage waste disposal and recycling processes in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
Training & Safety Compliance: Participate in safety training sessions and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
Documentation of Damaged Goods: Identify, document, and report damaged or expired materials for proper disposal or return.
Inventory Optimization: Suggest improvements for storage layout and inventory organization to maximize space utilization.
Assist with Audits: Support periodic warehouse audits and cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
Customer Service Support: Provide assistance to internal departments or external clients regarding inventory inquiries or shipment status.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or stores management.
Basic proficiency with inventory management systems and ERP software.
Knowledge of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Good communication skills.
Physical ability to lift and move materials as required.
Experience coordinating courier or transportation services is a plus.
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant warehouse or stores management experience.
