We also take care of our personal and institutional online trading customers. Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from start-up businesses to institutional customers, including product management, analytics and customer strategy.

Merchant Solutions supports our clients to operate and grow their business, through the provision of innovative payment solutions that help them better engage with their customers and suppliers. We are accountable for the end-to-end business customer experience and the delivery of acceptance capabilities to support our business customers. The Customer Present Crew within Merchant Solutions is building solutions for our Small Business Merchants, helping empower Small Businesses to grow and scale their business.

Take full ownership of the product roadmap, driving high-quality outcomes from your squad. Use your domain expertise to prioritise effectively and deliver on business objectives. You'll improve and create solutions for our small business customers, enabling them to transact and grow their business. In this role, you’ll deliver a tangible product that you can interact with, experiencing firsthand how CBA transforms the payment acceptance experience for our Small Business merchants.

Specifically, you will:

• Drive squad performance and OKR tracking
• Be the voice of the customer, ensuring their needs shape the product
• Use design thinking and analytics to guide product development
• Maintain a prioritised backlog aligned with business and customer outcomes
• Lead product roadmap discussions with senior stakeholders
• Manage supplier and partner relationships
• Ensure stakeholders are aligned on prioritisation
• Identify and mitigate risks across workstreams
• Lead daily squad activities to deliver impactful changes
• Validate customer problems and set clear learning objectives to inform decisions
• Resolve escalations and drive timely decisions
• Ensure smooth handover of new developments to operational teams

Help us deliver a better future in Business Banking by:

• Proven Product Owner, Product Management or Strategy experience, ideally within Acquiring, Issuing, Payments or eCommerce segments
• Risk mindset – all CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss and act on current and future risks

• A real passion for customer centric design thinking and ways of identifying opportunities for driving experience and growth
