Position Summary

Multi-faceted dynamic leader to manage all aspects of the Aluminum Beverage End manufacturing department including safety, quality, productivity, cost, maintenance, reliability, and KPI(s).

Essential Functions/Key Deliverables

· Establish and maintain a safe and healthy work environment always striving for zero incidents by leading all safety efforts and full compliance to established government and company safety policies/mandates.

· Ensure compliance with all government and company environmental policies as they relate to the End making process.

· Responsible for supporting the Plant Manager by managing the End department to realize exceptional performance in safety, quality, maintenance, and productivity at the lowest operating cost.

· Perform administrative responsibilities necessary for effective management of the manufacturing facility including the selection and development of employees.

· Ensure the manufacturing of Beverage Ends is within customer specifications and quality standards are strictly adhered to while meeting the financial objectives of the plant or department.

· Direct assigned plant department planning, scheduling, production, quality, and maintenance functions to drive plant KPIs.

· Drive process improvement through data driven analysis to improve the manufacturing processed.

· Maintain good customer relations (internal and external) through regular communication and maintaining the highest level of quality.

· Ensure Food Safety standards (to include HACCP, GMP’s) are adhered to as set forth in plant policies and programs within the End Department.

· Member of HARA team.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience

· Associate degree or significant experience in a related/similar field (prior Beverage Can/End Manufacturing experience preferred)

· Strong leadership skills and the ability to work through complex problems in a high-volume manufacturing environment with tight tolerances.

· Strong communication skills through all levels of the organization.

· Ability to develop strong relationships with employees, peers and leaders. 

· Must have basic skills with Microsoft Office: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
