About this role:

The Delivery Assurance Project Manager will be responsible for managing the entire order fulfillment process for commercial HVAC equipment, ensuring that each order is processed, manufactured, and delivered in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of project management principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Order Management:

• Oversee the order intake process, ensuring all customer requirements are understood and accurately communicated.
• Collaborate with the sales and engineering teams to resolve any technical issues that may arise during the order fulfillment process.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure appropriate production schedules and monitor progress to meet delivery deadlines.
• Work closely with the logistics department to arrange transportation and delivery of equipment, ensuring all shipments meet quality standards.
• Conduct post-delivery follow-up to gather customer feedback and ensure satisfaction.

Project Management:

• Implement project management best practices to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, identify potential risks and mitigation strategies, and ensure that all project milestones are met on time. This includes managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing project requirements to deliver successful outcomes.

Communication:

• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on order status and address any concerns or changes in requirements.

Matrixed Organization:

• Work within a matrixed organization structure, collaborating with various departments such as marketing, IT, and customer service. This involves coordinating efforts across different teams to achieve project goals and ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.
• In this role, we are looking for someone who takes initiative to get shipments out to customers without much direction.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 + years of experience in project management

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 + years of experience in project management, preferably in a manufacturing or technical environment
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, within a matrixed organization.
• Working Conditions: The Project Manager will work in an office setting with regular visits to the manufacturing floor and occasional travel to customer sites for project oversight.
• Physical Requirements: The role may require lifting of up to 20 pounds, standing for extended periods during site visits, and the use of standard office equipment.
