The Strategic Ledger program Offshore Oracle and Accounting lead is responsible for managing the Oracle and Accounting teams in India and the Philippines and responsible for all activities performed in those domains in our offshore centers. They are also responsible for growing the team from 10 to 40 resources this year. Strong experience implementing complex, global Oracle Cloud Finance solutions is required along good understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage activities of all Oracle and Accounting resources in Mumbai for SL
  • Act as key Oracle ERP/AFCS/EPM SME
  • Lead offshore designer for Oracle configuration
  • Oversee Oracle and Accounting issues resolution during offshore hours
  • Partners with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity and / or control.
  • Often requires development of new concepts and approaches to solving issues affecting business/ geographic region or a major segment of it.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience leading Oracle Cloud Finance Implementations
  • Relevant experience within the financial services industry required
  • In depth knowledge of General Ledger and Sub-Ledger solutions
  • Requires thorough knowledge of strategic direction of the function within the relevant part of the business, combined with a solid conceptual/practical grounding in the function and/or area of expertise and related subject areas.
  • Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level.
  • Some external communication/negotiation may be necessary.
  • Frequently involved with a variety of broad based and complex issues requiring conceptual thinking.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree and managerial experience
