Job Description:
The Mammography Technologist and Breast Sonographer is responsible for performing screening and diagnostic mammography exams, breast ultrasounds, and biopsies and procedures on patients using specialized equipment. This position works closely with radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results. This is a “hybrid” role used in areas where both mammography and sonography are required to provide patient care and this role requires a strong understanding of imaging techniques in both mammography and ultrasound, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.If you are interested in learning more about this role or about Intermountain Health, click here to schedule time with me!
