THE POSITION
You will drive our acquisition activities in a number of industries globally by sourcing and executing acquisitions of vertical-market-software companies by:

1. Creatively identifying mid-market software businesses meeting our strategic criteria and specific financial/operational metrics
2. Develop and execute prospecting campaigns through email, outbound calling and in-person meetings while effectively communicating our M&A value propositions
3. Maintaining relationships with key industry leaders while supporting a proprietary database of contacts
4. Engaging shareholders and financial advisors in a meaningful dialogue

You will have an opportunity to add value through the entire M&A cycle, working with a driven, high-energy M&A team and senior leaders within our organization. As you progress you will have the opportunity to drive and support the later stages of the M&A process such as drafting letters of intent, conducting due diligence and negotiating final purchase agreements.

THE PERSON
You are driven to perform, are results-oriented, have an attention for detail, are willing to work variable hours and comfortable with global travel. You have excellent social skills, a warm phone manner, and are an enthusiastic energetic self-starter. You are extremely organized and do not let details slip through the cracks. You are a collaborative individual, who can work easily with a team, but is comfortable driving work to completion when required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1-3 years of experience in corporate sales or businesses development with aptitude for sales, lead generation and sourcing new business opportunities
• Demonstrate success in growing a deal pipeline through outbound sales efforts, attendance at trade shows, broker roadshows, and engaging regularly with existing leads in our database
• Experience in financial analysis, investment banking and corporate M&A is a plus
• Excellent academic performance in an undergraduate degree; graduate degree and / or MBA is a plus, but not required
• Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
