Educational Requirements (Educational / academic qualifications)
- Post-graduate degree or diploma in Humanities or Industrial Psychology advantageous
Key Performance Areas: (Specific Description of the job)
Learning and Development
- Use performance reviews and skills gap analyses to identify training needs per department, team and individual
- Plan training programs based on business goals
- Oversee learning activities, curriculum and resources
- Work with subject matter experts to identify target audience’s training needs
- Create and design training programs and activities using Articulate
- Facilitate face to face (classroom) or online (Teams, Zoom or other platform) training and onboarding of new admin graduate’s sessions
- Manage training budgets
- Evaluate the results of learning courses
- Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to establish a culture of continuous learning
- Support and provide compliance training needs and reporting
- Recommend new training methods (including e-learning courses and game-based platforms)
- Fulfil role of Skills Development Facilitator (SDF) – compile Workplace Skills Plans and Annual Training Report for submission to FASSET (or relevant SETA)
- Oversee the implementation of critical programs such as learnerships.
- Ensure compliance with BBBEE Skills Development Targets and capture relevant skills development data in the BEE Manager system
Prior Work Experience / Background:
- 5 or more years’ experience as a People Training & Development business partner
- Experience in classroom and online lesson facilitation
- Experience in instructional design
- Coaching experience, preferably a qualified coach
Technical / Special Requirements (PC Skills / Product Knowledge / Specific Competencies)
- Knowledge of Training and Development processes
- Strong Micrsoft365/Microsoft Office skills
- Experience leading a team
- Project management exposure
- Experience with working in self organised and self-managed teams
- Resilience – must be able to be flexible and work under pressure
