Principal Responsibilities:
To read all the documents and understand what needs to be tested.
Based on the information procured in the above step decide how it is to be tested.
Inform the test lead about what all resources will be required for software testing.
Develop test cases and prioritize testing activities.
Execute all the test case and report defects, track them until closure
Give UATs to stakeholders
Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects
Could be involved in automation of the test cases once well versed with the product knowledge and the assigned features are stable
Your Profile
You must have documented and proven 6 to 8 years total experience with:
Min 3 Years’ experience in a complex software test environment from exploratory testing to system level testing
Min 2 Years’ experience in Trading or Capital Markets \ Investment banking domain , especially in automated trading and asset management area.
Working knowledge of “Trade life cycle” involving Front office, Middle Office and Back office workflow
Fair knowledge and hands-on to SQL with hands on experience in handling simple and complex queries.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills as you will be working closely with stakeholders in India and Copenhagen
Should have hands on exposure in API/ Web services and front end (UI) testing.
Should have hands testing exposure in API/ Web services using tools like SoapUI, Postman, Swagger UI etc
One or more of the below will be an added advantage:
Exposure to Spec flow\Cucumber (BDD)
Automation experience of building scripts on , Selenium, Coded UI, others
Automation experience of building scripts on any of the tools like SoapUI, Postman, Swagger UI etc.
Work experience on Visual Studio with C# coding
Good knowledge on Fiddler
