Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the initiative to design, develop, and configure software applications tailored to project requirements. This role serves as the main liaison for coordinating efforts across teams, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of the software solutions. The position demands proactive engagement in problem-solving and continuous improvement of application performance, while managing priorities to meet project timelines effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of software design with project goals.
- Document design processes and application configurations to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth.
- Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to enhance software reliability and efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Design for Testability (DFT).
- Strong understanding of test methodologies and integration of testability features within software design.
- Experience with debugging and troubleshooting complex software systems to ensure high quality deliverables.
- Familiarity with hardware-software interaction principles to optimize test coverage and fault detection.
- Ability to analyze design specifications and translate them into effective test strategies.
- Skilled in using software tools that support design for testability and automated testing frameworks.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Design for Testability (DFT).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
