Job Description Qualifications:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Information Technology Product Owner to join the team in Saint Charles, MO

Our Information Technology (IT) professionals directly support Boeing and external customers for our Saint Charles Weapons programs. As the Product Owner, you are responsible for ensuring we capture, prioritize, and execute on the product backlog utilizing the Agile Production System methods we developed and you bring to the table.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Understands complex technical challenges and make educated trade-offs with your team

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches and processes

  • Provides subject matter expertise for complex issues

  • Maintains the team backlog, iteration planning and story collaboration

  • Applies behavior-driven development, accept stories and drive decisions

  • Evaluates and effectively communicates complex system problems and resolution

  • Leads the handling of service requests from the user community

  • Leads architecture design studies for technology implementation

  • Creates Microsoft Windows baseline images

  • Conducts Information Assurance scans and remediation

  • Installs and configures Virtual Machine Ware (VMWare) and storage

  • Updates on Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

  • 1+ years of experience leading or performing the activities of complex IT programs

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

  • 3+ years of experience leading or performing the activities of complex IT programs

  • Experience with IT infrastructure supporting desktop, server, storage or network hardware and software components

  • Experience working with Commercial off-the-shelf Software (COTS) Integration in a Linux or Windows environment

  • Experience with Scaled Agile Framework

  • Experience with Agile Methodologies

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically, 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range: $102,000 – $138,000
