12 Software Engineer
Hybrid – Basingstoke or Dorking Office 3 days a week

What will you bring?

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will build and configure software solutions within your business portfolio with minimal oversight. You will use your technical skills and application knowledge to deliver high-quality software by working closely with your agile team, applying unit testing, and using continuous integration. You will be responsible for accurately estimating work required to deliver software features and applying critical thinking to solution design and implementation, driving real business value.

Key Responsibilities
•    Design, build, and configure software solutions with minimal supervision.
•    Collaborate within an agile team to deliver high-quality software.
•    Apply unit testing and continuous integration practices.
•    Translate high-level architectural designs into detailed low-level designs.
•    Ensure secure coding practices and adherence to modern CI/CD frameworks.

Skills & Experience
•   Azure, React JS, .NET, C#, SQL Server.
•    Proven track record and strong experience in software engineering, including experience in API and UI development.
•    Strong technical design and documentation skills.
•    Ability to produce robust low-level designs from high-level architecture.
•    Solid understanding of secure coding principles and modern development frameworks.
•    Experience with Azure DevOps.
•    Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable. Financial services experience is also valuable.
•    Strong technical candidates without domain experience will be considered.
