We are looking for an experienced, dedicated veterinary surgeon who strives to provide the best level of care for all our patients and their owners. You will have the ability to communicate confidently with associates at all levels which is important to us.

We are looking for an experienced, dedicated veterinary surgeon, ideally with 3 years+ experience, who strives to provide the best level of care for all our patients and their owners. This role may also be suitable for someone looking to progress in their career into a leadership position within clinical practice.

The role would be sole charge, so prospective candidates need to be confident with robust skills in general practice consulting and surgery work. Further support can be provided from our Buckhurst Hill practice.

Your role and responsibilities will be to:

  • Work alongside the Clinical Director to ensure standards are upheld, with the highest level of clinical care is provided to patients.
  • Mixture of general practice consultation and surgery work throughout the week. Protected administration time also.
  • Ensure growth and development of the practice.
  • Exhibit strong client care skills showing professionalism and empathy
  • To work alongside and delegate tasks as required with other clinical and support staff.

Hours: 40 hours a week.

About us

We opened the Romford Veterinary Surgery in Hornchurch in March 2009, they are a busy well established branch surgery with a great support team and client base. Romford Surgery provides their clients with essential services, such as routine operations, radiographs, dental treatment with dental x-ray, day patient care, nutritional support and weight clinics. Overnight hospitalisations are provided by our main hospital in Buckhurst Hill. Salary Value:£70,000 per annum;
