As a Manager of Non-Volatile Engineering (NVE) Managed NAND Product Engineering at Micron Technology, Inc., you will lead a brilliant team of engineers to solve complex problems.
You and your team are responsible to enable the New Product Introduction by closely working with the cross-functional teams such as NAND, ASIC and System teams, assist Qualification and Ramping of cutting edge 3D NAND embedded products and Support High Volume Manufacturing yield enhancement, dpm reduction, test time improvement .
As a Manager, you will be responsible to manage and develop your team of Product Engineers by coaching, establishing goals, providing career development, and conducting performance appraisals.
You will also define training requirements for new engineers, deliver instruction, and assist with data analysis and project management as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Define and develop high quality and cost efficient Managed NAND test strategies
• Understand 3D NAND defect mechanisms and Managed NAND system error recovery features
• Collaborate with Managed NAND system design and eco system teams to develop eMMC/UFS production system test suites
• Closely work with test hardware and test engineering teams to define and secure necessary test fixtures for memory and system testing
• Coordinate High Volume Manufacturing yield enhancement, DPM management and TTR efforts
• Provide technical and management training and expertise
• Routinely communicate overall product status to leadership and cross functional product team
• Provide guidance through debug and resolution of product related issues
• Set performance management guidelines for your engineers and leads
• Routinely provide guidance on career development in your team
• Conduct regular performance appraisals of your team
Successful candidates for this exciting opportunity will have:
• Management experience leading a distributed team
• Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
• Good multitasking and organizational skills, able to make decisions in complex situations
• Ability to delegate tasks and set priorities in a team environment
• Experience working in a sophisticated technology company
• Good understanding of storage interfaces including ideally PCIe/NVMe, UFS, eMMC
• Technical experience with advanced 3D NAND flash and other non-volatile storage
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent Project Management skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Self-motivation and enthusiasm
