The SC Distribution Compliance Analyst role is crucial for ensuring Alcon's compliance with regulatory requirements through effective management of RPA data. This role demands a high level of analytical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. The RPA Analyst supports key business initiatives, maintains regulatory compliance, and continuously improves data governance processes to ensure the integrity and accuracy of master data. Has the ability to quickly learn and implement new reporting technologies. Has strong technical understanding of data reporting tools and techniques.
This position is to provide central governance and accountability of RPA (Regulatory Product Assortment) data, ensuring a high degree of accuracy, consistency, and completeness in master data creation. This role is essential for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements by managing and controlling the supply chain distribution to ensure products are shipped only to approved markets. The Supply Chain Distribution Compliance Analyst facilitates RPA record set-up and modifications in alignment with departmental standards and business rules during integration activities, product commercialization programs, global and regional product launches, and all subsequent phases of the product lifecycle. Additionally, this position involves developing and refining reporting templates, dashboards, and queries to meet the evolving needs of stakeholders, ensuring reports are user-friendly, visually appealing, and provide actionable insights.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
Analyze Requirements and Execute Data Collection:
Analyze requirements for new RPA record setups and change requests in Alcon ERP systems (SAP) to ensure compliance with regulatory regulations.
Execute data collection and entry to support proper distribution control, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of master data.
Maintain Configuration Requirements:
Maintain configuration requirements in control tables to support the availability of approved products within respective markets.
Ensure that products are only available in markets where regulatory approvals have been obtained.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other business teams, including Supply Chain, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and Manufacturing, to address and resolve RPA data issues promptly.
Facilitate effective communication and collaboration to ensure seamless operations and data integrity.
Data Analysis and Validation:
Analyze large amounts of data to support RPA data validation and cleansing activities, both operational and project-oriented.
Identify and rectify data discrepancies, contributing to the enhancement of governance processes through data insights and recommendations.
Support Business Initiatives:
Provide assistance to key business initiatives such as new product launches, acquisitions, and existing product versioning.
Ensure that RPA data aligns with business goals and regulatory requirements during these initiatives.
Maintain Compliance:
Maintain compliance with applicable internal and external controls to ensure data integrity and regulatory adherence.
Process Improvement and Communication:
Participate in periodic data steward meetings to understand new processes and standards.
Communicate new processes and standards to other team members to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
Continuously seek process improvement opportunities.
Develop Reporting Tools:
Develop and refine reporting templates, dashboards, and queries to meet the evolving needs of stakeholders.
Ensure that reports are user-friendly, visually appealing, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
Additional Responsibilities:
Other responsibilities may be assigned as needed to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
Education: Bachelor in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Regulatory Affairs, Business analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. Or equivalent years of directly related experience
5+ years managing master data across a complex international supply chain in an ERP environment. SAP preferred
