Job Description Summary

               

Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to provide business analytics and fact-based recommendations that will assist in delivering against the stated objectives. Specific tasks include annual operating plan, monthly forecasting, monthly close procedures and reporting, capital planning and ad hoc projects.

Job Description

  • Lead a team of employees (30%) and contractors (70%) to manage the EDI systems for the company.
  • Coach / Lead / Mentor junior administrators
  • Train new employees and contractors
  • Monitor all system metrics and find weaknesses in process / technology and create appropriate plans to mitigate them.
  • Develop, support & maintain EDI routing/workflow environment in accordance with team and enterprise standards.
  • Develop, support & maintain our API runtime environment, including developing familiarity with a variety of web services and connectors.
  • Familiarity with various communication methods, FTP, SFTP, & AS2
  • Develop, support & maintain good business relationships with a variety of internal departments. Provide excellent customer service to our external clients & prompt responsive support to the business.
  • Provide backup support for legacy supported systems as needed.
  • On boarding new Trading Partners
  • Execute EDI testing processes
  • Coordinate EDI needs with business/apps team
  • Monitor daily EDI activity
  • Maintain documentation of EDI systems/activities/flow
  • Understand EDI Transaction Types
  • Maintain changes and issues in SN and ADO
  • Understand and maintain our global EDI footprint and seek for standardization

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • BS Computer Science or related field required
  • Must have 5-10 years’ experience with EDI in a global environment or a combination of experience and education to perform the job
  • Understanding of EDI standards (ANSI X12 EDI, EDIFACT, GS1, Tradacom) required
  • Effective collaboration & communication skills required
  • Effective leadership skills required
  • EDI Mapping experience in EDIHQ and PO/PI
  • Experience in SAP S4, Service Now and Azure Dev Ops
  • Experience in leading projects

Skills:

  • Knowledge of (global and local) EDI Standards (ANSI X12 EDI, EDIFACT, GS1, TRADACOM)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and assimilate relevant data into EDI mappings
  • Knowledge of and ability to understand and analyze business processes to translate in IT solutions for our customers
  • Demonstrated successful interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Strong ability to think logically and analytically, problem-solve, build consensus, and lead initiatives in an organized and efficient manner
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SAP/BPC or other multi-dimensional database tools preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects & work independently
  • Experience effectively working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work under limited supervision in a fast-paced environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, change and a dynamic business environment

This compensation is specific to this position and takes into account a number of variables. Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range posted based on various factors, including, but not limited to, job duties, experience and expertise. A candidate’s work location could also impact the actual compensation being outside of the range to reflect local cost of labor. A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $98,770.00 - $148,160.00
