The APAC IT Business Partner / Regional IT Leader is the primary technology partner to APAC business leadership. This role shapes and translates APAC business strategy into an IT demand roadmap, ensures delivery of fit-for-purpose technology support and solutions, and represents APAC needs within the global IT operating model. The role drives measurable business outcomes through strong stakeholder partnership, disciplined demand management, and delivery execution in collaboration with global IT product and platform teams.
Strategic Business Partnership & Demand Shaping
Serve as a trusted advisor to APAC functional and regional leaders, building deep understanding of priorities and translating them into IT initiatives.
Translate business strategy into a prioritized IT demand pipeline and multi-quarter roadmap.
Facilitate decision-making on scope, cost, timeline, and risk across a global matrix.
Solution Delivery & Execution
Own end-to-end delivery outcomes for APAC-sponsored initiatives from intake through adoption.
Ensure projects follow global governance, architecture standards, and security requirements.
Coordinate delivery across commercial, marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations teams.
Regional Technology Support & Operational Excellence
Act as an escalation point for regional technology issues requiring cross-team coordination.
Partner with global IT service teams to improve service quality and user experience.
Ensure compliance with global IT policies, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements.
Stakeholder Management & Governance
Establish regular APAC IT governance and communication cadence with business and IT leadership.
Provide transparent reporting on portfolio status, risks, and value realization.
Manages regional IT spend and planning.
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in IT leadership, business partnering, or technology program delivery.
Strong understanding of enterprise platforms such as ERP and CRM systems. Direct experience with Microsoft D365 and related systems preferred.
Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders in a multicultural, matrixed organization.
Fluent in Mandarin with English fluency strongly preferred.
This role may be positioned at the Senior Manager or Director level depending on scope. A Senior Manager focus emphasizes demand shaping and execution through influence, while a Director scope includes regional IT strategy ownership, budget accountability, and potential people leadership.
