As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for develops strategic account plans, manages complex sales cycles involving technical and commercial activities, and makes critical decisions on account prioritization, resource allocation, and market penetration. The role also addresses supply and market challenges, supports customers across multiple food segments, and proactively identifies emerging customer needs to drive growth through Ingredion’s strategic solutions and innovation pipeline.

What you will do:

• Sales – Seek new customers/opportunities to secure new business. Develop strong knowledge of the market environment for food ingredients in East & Central Java. Analyze sales statistics to determine business potential. Generate strong and healthy pipelines, Responsibility of top/bottom line growth through price/cost management. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Responsibility for accounts receivables, monitoring A/R aging and coordinates with accounts receivable controller.
• Account Management – Establish and maintain current area and potential client relationships. Handle complex customer issues and escalations (complaints due to quality issues), ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. Coordinate MNC accounts’ projects with other divisions of the Company.
• Technology – Work closely with technical service/applications to Influences customer product development and ingredient selection decisions through strong technical-commercial value propositions and to translate customer needs into technical development projects to deliver innovative and high profit solutions.  Provide of basic technical support to deliver troubleshooting and technical assistance to accelerate project win
• Supply chain – Control of inventory levels through replenishment and planning. Work with supply chain to deliver forecasting accuracy and inventory optimization e.g. warehousing, delivery. Management of customer service for forecasting, ordering, shipment tracking, local delivery

What you will bring:

• Degree in Food Technology or other Science related degree.
• Minimum 8 years of food ingredient sales and 3 years of managerial experience in B2B markets.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
• Demonstrate maturity in handling and developing new customers.
• Able to travel domestic ( East & Central Java) and possess own car.
