About the Role
St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne is seeking passionate and experienced Registered Nurses competent in the administration of anti-cancer medication (eviQ ADAC) to join the Nurse Workforce Unit’s Casual Nurse Bank team, to work within our Chemotherapy Day Unit.
About the Chemotherapy Day Unit
The Chemotherapy Day Unit is an 18-chair unit that specialises in the delivery of systemic anti-cancer therapies both as standard of care and on clinical trials. The unit provides treatment for patients with haematological malignancies and solid tumours, working closely alongside the multidisciplinary team. The service also includes Apheresis, a Symptom Urgent Review Clinic (SURC) and Cancer Care at Home.
The Cancer Centre upholds strong values of providing person centred care to our patients which incorporates the Values and Health Care Philosophy of the Sisters of Charity.
Classifications for the RN position will range from ZU3 - ZU11 ($67527.2 - $95,378.40 per annum) pro rata.
About You and Your Contribution
You will be a passionate, motivated nurse who enjoys variety in their work and are excited by the prospect of growing as a professional through developing your clinical skills and knowledge. Your strong interpersonal skills will see you work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Current condition free nursing registration with AHPRA.
