Job Title: Lead Account Coordinator

About The Role:
Reporting to the Team Lead of Commercial Lines Account Coordinators, this position is responsible to perform more complex work in collaborating with Account Managers to meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services and products.
Address and resolve any client issues or concerns promptly, escalating to higher management when necessary.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and service agreements.
Track and report on key performance metrics related to client satisfaction and account performance.
Identify and implement opportunities for improving client service processes and workflows.
Mentor and train account coordinators, providing guidance and support as needed.
Review contracts to align with policy coverage and address as needed
Manage complex certificate issuance along with other items such as binders, etc.
Ensure policy information is entered and updated appropriately in EPIC
May send applications / submissions to carriers
Collaborate with account managers in preparing proposals, loss summaries, schedules of insurance and other relevant spreadsheets/reports
Follow up with underwriters for policies, endorsements and change requests
Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company request needs on a timely basis.
Scan and/ or attach all e-mails, applications, certificate requests, faxes and other correspondence received in EPIC and maintain accuracy of client data.
Manage vehicles change requests from insureds and dealers.
Prepare cover letters for routine endorsements.
Manage on-line endorsement/ application processing
Manage audit processing and ensure information is sent to insureds
Ensure business processes and workflows align appropriately in EPIC system
Perform other responsibilities and assignments to meet business needs

Requirements:
Strong organizational and time management skills along with a demonstrated attention to detail
Successfully works independently and collaboratively, depending upon the specific needs of the tasks
Ability to work in fast paced environment, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Professionally and effectively communicates, both verbally and in writing, including the ability to actively listen
High degree of critical thinking; must have a strong ability to problem-solve to help address issues or selectively refer them for assistance
Enjoys a high degree of interaction with team members, and consistently demonstrates high motivation, positive behavior, sense of urgency, and works to achieve goals and objectives
Ability to establish credibility and develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders through ethics, integrity, professionalism, and mutual respect
Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint with experience collaborating efficiently in M365 (OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint)
Proficient computer skills with agency management software systems
Education/Experience:
High School Degree/Diploma or recognized equivalent is required. Higher education is desired
Property & Casualty license is required.
Prior office experience within the insurance industry is preferred
