The Project Execution team is a brand-new team within ICG Technology, Enterprise and Architecture Practice, working closely alongside our Common Platform Engineering development teams.

In addition to building out capabilities, Common Platform Engineering needs to engage proactively with LOB teams to speed up adoption; by embedding with the teams to help them use the new capabilities, and just as importantly get feedback from the experience to bring back to the core teams. Managing the delivery for these projects across various LOBs is a critical part of the process. The Common Platform Engineering team comprises of the following teams: GenAI, Data Modelling, Codification of Rules, API, UI Services and UI Desktop, each of these will be focused on their associated technical capability. 

The Opportunity
 

The role of Project Execution Team will be to work closely with the LOB teams acting as early adopters of the new offerings coming out of the common platform engineering teams – bringing combined projects to production. In addition, they will work alongside the development groups to provide feedback on improvements/ enhancements required to the core tools.

This role will be the key facilitator for the LOB teams as it will enable them to navigate the onboarding process more easily and enable faster adoption. As part of this, you will present status updates to a wider audience and ensure that risks are captured and mitigated where we depend on others. You will proactively notice any delays and work around these to enable onboarding as quickly as possible. The role will expand as the number of collaborating LOBs grows and will also play a pivotal part in redefining the onboarding process for the future.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Platform Program and Project management tracking across multiple LOBs, CTI, CISO, etc.
  • Drive proactive engagement with LOB teams to understand and capture their timelines on the existing roadmap
  • Work closely with LOB teams to plan and deliver solutions, managing dependencies on other teams
  • Streamline onboarding process and ensure LOB teams can navigate through it according to planed timelines
  • Drive process improvements and navigate/communicate change to onboarding teams
  • Capture and manage risks and issues, and proactively reduce project's exposure to these
  • Communicate with end-users to provide timely and accurate information and status updates
  • An excellent communicator who is collaborative by nature, gets on well with others and builds strong working relationships across the firm
  • A self-starter with the ability to work effectively in teams
     

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience as project manager working with Agile/Scrum team(s).
  • Proven track record in leading complex technological development projects within a wider program, with high levels of dependency and multiple, conflicting stakeholders
  • Experience with Jira, Power Point, Excel
  • Experience with Confluence – an advantage
  • Excellent English
  • Strong can-do attitude and organizational skills with great attention to detail
  • Ability to build key work relationships at all levels and reach consensus despite differing goals and priorities at all levels
  • Good interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
  • Proven capability to lead meetings and discussions with executive level stakeholders and clients to develop and drive product roadmap
  • Working closely with LOB teams to kick-start projects and adoption
  • Ideally, able to build and leverage a good internal network and knowledge from LOB role previously
