The Project Execution team is a brand-new team within ICG Technology, Enterprise and Architecture Practice, working closely alongside our Common Platform Engineering development teams.
In addition to building out capabilities, Common Platform Engineering needs to engage proactively with LOB teams to speed up adoption; by embedding with the teams to help them use the new capabilities, and just as importantly get feedback from the experience to bring back to the core teams. Managing the delivery for these projects across various LOBs is a critical part of the process. The Common Platform Engineering team comprises of the following teams: GenAI, Data Modelling, Codification of Rules, API, UI Services and UI Desktop, each of these will be focused on their associated technical capability.
The Opportunity
The role of Project Execution Team will be to work closely with the LOB teams acting as early adopters of the new offerings coming out of the common platform engineering teams – bringing combined projects to production. In addition, they will work alongside the development groups to provide feedback on improvements/ enhancements required to the core tools.
This role will be the key facilitator for the LOB teams as it will enable them to navigate the onboarding process more easily and enable faster adoption. As part of this, you will present status updates to a wider audience and ensure that risks are captured and mitigated where we depend on others. You will proactively notice any delays and work around these to enable onboarding as quickly as possible. The role will expand as the number of collaborating LOBs grows and will also play a pivotal part in redefining the onboarding process for the future.
