As a Supplier Retention Representative, you will support suppliers by resolving inquiries, providing product education, and helping them optimize their E-payment solutions. You will assist low-dollar spend accounts, build strong relationships, and contribute to retention and revenue goals through consultative guidance. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first mindset while partnering with internal teams to ensure seamless supplier experiences.
Respond to supplier inquiries via phone, email, and other channels in a timely and professional manner
Provide consultation to help suppliers understand and optimize E-payment solutions, processes, and timelines
Engage in consultative sales practices to enhance retention and identify revenue opportunities
Identify emerging trends and insights based on supplier interactions and communicate them to the business
Handle escalated supplier issues and collaborate cross-functionally to drive resolution and preventative actions
Partner with internal teams to support supplier-facing initiatives and identify process improvements
Manage low-dollar spend accounts ranging from $0 to $500,000
1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing or customer service role (supplier relations is a plus)
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly
High attention to detail, organization, and accuracy
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and CRM systems such as Salesforce
Self-motivated and disciplined, able to manage tasks independently
Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking when resolving supplier issues
Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trends
Adaptability to evolving processes and tools
Comfortable presenting solutions and ideas to suppliers or internal teams
