Job Description
The Portfolio Management Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support within the portfolio management function including general filing, scanning, imaging, copying of materials for distribution to related departments and Northwest's imaging system while tracking, requesting and collecting financial statement/information required from borrowers and adhering to required due dates. This position assists portfolio managers and relationship managers in the management of the commercial loan portfolio.
Essential Functions
Track, request, and collect financial statements within defined timeframes
Compile and communicate loan management reports on a timely basis
Assist in the management and maintenance of collateral requirements, including ensuring timely insurance policy updates
Service client needs, including prompt responses to inquiries and resolution of problems to promote an exceptional client experience
Support portfolio managers to ensure that loans in process are completed on a timely basis and in conformity with terms
Establish and maintain appropriate files and records for loan documents as required
Serve as a liaison with other departments/vendors/auditors as needed
Serve as office manager if required
Ensure document/data integrity
Knowledge of loan documentation
Cultivate relationships with commercial clients
Maximize technology tools available
Develop use of commercial related software
Maintain appropriate borrower files
Ensure conformity to loan terms
Recommend improvements to procedures
Recommend service/delivery enhancements
Preferred Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
3-5 years Commercial banking operations, processing, or administration experience
The pay range for this position is generally $23 - $27 per hour. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the successful candidate’s experience, skills, and knowledge. Additional benefits are also available.
