We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Vice President, Trade Process Data Analyst (Internal Job Title: Cash and Trade Proc Sr Analyst - C12) based in Penang. The Trade Process Data Analyst is an intermediate level role responsible for ensuring transactions are processed accurately and on time in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth knowledge, and contribute to the development of new techniques / processes for cash management operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Review service quality, production systems, and client reporting within trade operations.

  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Product, Operations and Sales around Trade & Working Capital transactions.

  • Track & maintain a processing trend for trade processing functions.

  • Analyze complex and variable issues to resolve issues and ensure team deliverables meet performance and quality expectations.

  • Lead and participate in quality reviews of trade transactions along the value stream to identify process breaks and the reasons and remediate.

  • Perform detailed analysis and enable acceleration of trade transactions.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead the execution of the same.

  • Partner with multiple business units internally to navigate through the lifecycle of a transaction.

  • Identify control deficiencies, resolve issues and escalate control gaps and issues to senior management when appropriate.

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications

  • Advanced Data Analytics & Visualization (expert level user of Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Powerpoint)

  • Stakeholder Influence & Management

  • Strong communication skills (presentation & written work product)

  • Client service minded, experience with client tiering analysis and process

  • Experience leading strategic initiatives, optimizing processes, and enhancing operational efficiency.

  • Expert resource, providing guidance and leadership to the trade operations team and working closely with senior management to drive the department's success

  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a related role

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
