The Warehouse Supervisor is a front-line leadership role responsible for overseeing daily operations within a high-volume Parts Distribution Center (PDC) supporting Southeast Toyota.

This position leads a team of warehouse associates to ensure the timely, accurate, and efficient movement of inventory, including receiving, picking, and shipping, supporting 177 dealerships across the Southeast. 

The role combines hands-on operational oversight with people leadership responsibilities, including coaching, performance management, and driving productivity.

Success in this role requires the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment, leverage data to improve outcomes, and foster a culture of engagement, accountability, and continuous improvement while consistently meeting production and quality goals. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of up to 20 warehouse associates to drive productivity and engagement 

  • Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including de-vanning, receiving, picking, and shipping 

  • Ensure daily production, quality, and safety targets are consistently achieved 

  • Partner with Operations Manager, Assistant Operations Managers, and peer Supervisors to execute operational goals 

  • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management to associates, including development planning 

  • Analyze operational data and generate reports to guide daily decisions, improve productivity, and identify performance trends 

  • Hold associates accountable to performance standards, reinforcing both positive and corrective behaviors 

  • Support and champion continuous improvement initiatives, including Hoshin goals and process enhancements 

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance work environment 

  • Maintain strong communication and alignment across cross-functional teams 

 

Qualifications

  • 2 - 5 years of leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment 

  • Preferred background in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related operations-focused field 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Ability to lead teams and drive performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

  • Strong coaching, communication, and performance management skills 

  • Experience using data and metrics to make operational decisions 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 

  • Experience with the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus 

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI 

  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) 

  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours in a 24/6 operation with rotating shifts 

Sunday , 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Monday – Friday, 5:30 AM – 2:00 PM  

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
