Your Role

  • Own and continuously prioritize the development items backlog, ensuring the team always works on the highest-value topics

  • Translate the Product Manager’s input and roadmap into a clear software component vision, breaking down features into detailed development items (e.g. EPICs, user stories)

  • Prepare, plan, and prioritize sprint and PI backlogs, cascading priorities and coordinating PI Planning with other TPOs and steering roles to create transparency on objectives, risks, and dependencies

  • Ensure timely availability of release candidates in the required environments and regularly align with Test Managers (team-internal and cross-team) on test coverage and deliverables for system tests

  • Own SWRS and cSWR documentation and, together with the development team, ensure delivery of all software-related documentation (e.g. SWAD with architecture, software design), using agile delegation to involve developers early in defining and writing requirements

  • Align with DCM on milestones and delivery dates, integrating DCM requirements (e.g. penetration tests, DPIA & CSA, regulatory and legal needs) into planning and backlog items within defined agile timeboxes (Quarter-PI, Sprints)

  • Report progress along defined value streams to the steering group (PL, HO, TLs, PM), act as the first escalation level for blockers from Scrum Masters, and provide technical leadership by motivating, coaching, moderating, resolving conflicts, and guiding decisions

Your Profile

  • Minimum Master’s degree in Electronics, Informatics, Computer Science or a related field (e.g. Bio-Engineering)

  • At least 7 years of experience in technically leading software development teams

  • Strong senior moderation and facilitation skills, with situational reporting tailored to different stakeholders (management, developers, Product Managers)

  • Very good understanding of state-of-the-art technologies for embedded software development (e.g. MBSE, Systems Engineering or comparable techniques)

  • Very good knowledge of agile software development, including scaled agile frameworks and practices

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German
