John Hancock is currently transforming our Long-Term Care (LTC) business to help our customers age in place and receive the care that they need. This team focuses on the delivery of solutions that create and support engaging and frictionless experiences for our customers, producers, and employees, leveraging vendors, digital platforms and/or solutions.

As a Health & Prevention Program Manager, you will be focused on helping organize and enable our Long-Term Care Health & Prevention team’s strategic priorities within an agile delivery model through exceptional Project Management. Reporting directly into the AVP, Head of Long-Term Care Health & Prevention, you will contribute to the realization of the Long-Term Care Health & Prevention strategy, vision, and OKRs by supporting and aligning the business to deliver actionable results and setting the team up for success. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with team members (Product Owners and Business Analysts) to drive John Hancock’s LTC transformation and strategic priorities within the Health & Wellness pillar.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and manage the scope, strategy, requirements and implementation of projects.
  • Setting project goals and objectives while ensuring the meeting of deadlines
  • Coordinating with the multidisciplinary teams outside of Health & Prevention (Marketing, Human Centered Design, Advanced Analytics, etc.) to develop and implement strategies.
  • Creating excellent documentation of projects inclusive of Project Plans, Timelines, Roadmaps, RACIs, Presentations and Reporting.
  • Maintaining excellent organization of documentation related to specific projects.
  • Managing project budgets and timelines.
  • Ensuring all project stakeholders are kept informed about project progress, deadlines, and potential issues.
  • Develop cost-benefit analyses for project initiatives.
  • Identify, analyze, mitigate, document, and control project risks.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of progressive Project Management/Business Analysis experience supporting Business teams and large-scale projects.
  • Exceptional organization, communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior understanding of business and operational processes.
  • Experience with creating Business Project Plans/Business Cases, while working directly with delivery leads.
  • Strong analysis and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Partner management and communication skills in sharing progress and facilitating planning meetings.
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint as well as other Project Management tools.
  • Good understanding of project management methodologies and workflow design.
  • Understanding of system design and analysis and user testing.
  • Experience designing roadmaps, use cases, RACIs, update documentation, budget plans with familiarity with ROI metrics.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders representing a broad range of functions and levels.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business knowledge and understanding of long-term care insurance and understanding of wellness programs for the aging population.
  • Understanding of geriatric care services (Home Health, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, etc.).

Salary range is expected to be between

$73,350.00 USD - $122,250.00 USD
