To learn, understand, and bring to life our company story in physical and virtual event formats.

What you'll be doing:

As the Creative Director of Global Events, you will lead the conceptual, development, and design and systems on our physical and virtual experiences. Working alongside event and marketing teams to develop a full range of ideas and assets. Creating strategic, purposeful, and extraordinary work that elevates the visibility and craft of NVIDIA's story—from core event identity, booths large and small, virtual experiences, websites, event marketing, and more.

Working with a team of in-house creative directors, art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, video editors, 3D artists, and account managers to bring ideas to life, and make real through production.

What we need to see:

  • A stellar portfolio, featuring real-world examples of how you art direct and hands-on design, build, and conceptualize purposeful, differentiated events experiences, both physical and virtual. Beautifully conveyed through 2D, 3D renderings, and video.

  • A history of masterful storytelling across a variety of mediums — working with artists across 2D and 3D, motion graphics, photography and video, and traditional print designers in the creation of projects.

  • Excellent listening, writing, speaking skills—becoming an authority in the cultural and company ingredients that make us truly unique. Distilling complex information and concepts into a story that you could explain to newer designers as well as broader audiences.

  • Excellent presentation and pitch skills—leading conversations to refine ideas, ability to take live feedback and providing solutions rapidly.

  • Incredible attention to detail. You dream in spot colors, you obsess over layouts and systems. You thoroughly understand materials, processes (and limitations).

  • Demonstration of fundamental principles of art direction and graphic design for brand, layout, typography, video, photography, and 3D, as well as application of established brand systems to real-world projects.

  • You love working in a non-linear, agile manner and you have a passion to understand emerging tech from the inside out.

  • Evidence of how you seek out and promote the latest creative and design industry trends and technologies, and embrace change

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of technical and traditional processes and production pipelines.

  • A BFA, BS, or MFA in Graphic Design or equivalent field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years in a leadership role, running the Creative aspect of events in-house or at an agency. Owning the creation of events systems and standards. Mentoring junior designers.

  • 10+ overall years of proven experience working with established brands, collaborating with senior executive level leadership teams.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • A naturally curious and passionate mind about technology, design, and the rapidly evolving AI landscape; you embrace Generative AI and have spent time with many of the tools.

  • You live in Adobe Creative Cloud, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Cinema4D, Blender or/and Maya, Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Omniverse, experience is a big plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google G Suite and tracking your work in job tracking tools such as Workfront

  • Agency experience nice, in-house experience a big plus.

The base salary range is 176,000 USD - 299,000 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
