Job Summary

The Director, HR Business Partner is responsible for building strategic partnerships across the business to drive people initiatives in support of F&G’s Corporate goals. This role will collaborate with other HR team members to develop solutions that drive business results. !!The Director, HR Business Partner serves as a member of their assigned business unit leadership team, providing coaching on people-related topics and strategic counsel on talent planning. This role will report to the AVP, HR Business Partner

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Gain understanding of business strategy and translate it into HR solutions that drive organizational goals, employee engagement, and business growth.
  • Advise and consult with business leaders on HR programs, policies, and initiatives to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Create organization design solutions that support the business operating model and promote agility, innovation and reduction of non-value adding work.
  • Build trusted relationships with leaders, employees, and high-potential talent to foster a strong culture and positive employee experience.
  • Provide strategic HR consulting through diagnostics, org design, change management, and communications to support business needs.
  • Coach and support managers and leaders on effective team management, development, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Analyze HR data, metrics, and trends to inform business decisions, measure program effectiveness, and influence leadership through storytelling.
  • Execute core HR programs, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and compensation planning, in partnership with HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Interpret HR policies and develop innovative solutions to address employee relations issues while serving as an employee advocate and maintaining governance compliance.
  • Work closely with the HRBP team to ensure alignment, consistency, and standardization across the enterprise

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related areas

Years of Experience

8+ year of relevant experience in Human Resources (with roles of increasing responsibility) with an emphasis in employee relations, workforce planning, organizational and talent development/talent management

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Years of Experience
    • 2+ year of relevant experience in the Insurance/Financial Services industry 
  • License/Certification
    • HR professional certifications preferred.

Other Requirements

  • This position primarily involves sedentary work, requiring long periods of sitting, regular use of a computer, and occasional standing or walking, with reasonable accommodations available.
  • Perform other functions, duties and projects as assigned
  • Regular and punctual attendance

Ability to travel up to:  10% of the time
