Senior or Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist

Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior or Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist to support the 777X BDS team in Berkeley, MO!

As a Senior or Lead Supplier Program Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal part in supporting technical and business activities to meet supplier performance targets, the evaluation of performance throughout all contract phase and a continuous review and analysis supplier assessments. You’ll collaborate with various teams to review of current and projected work statement to support procurement strategies and contractual compliance.

Position Responsibilities (Senior - 4):

  • Leads technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities
  • Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Conducts and guides supplier assessments. Develops current and projected work statement
  • Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Develops and executes work movement plans

Position Responsibilities (Lead - 5):

  • Oversees technical and business guidance to critical suppliers and programs
  • Leads strategic supply chain activities to manage work with suppliers and programs
  • Manages all aspects of supplier and stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases
  • Leads supplier assessments and the development of recovery plans, corrective and preventative actions
  • Leads the development of company or business unit procurement strategies
  • Provides oversight, guidance and verification of work movement projects
  • Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders
  • Manages work movement plans

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Technical Bachelor's, Master's or a PhD degree. (A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in engineering, mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study)
  • 5+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • 5+ years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in root cause analysis and Corrective action
  • Experience leading or participating  in supplier contract negotiations
  • 5+ years of experience with cost proposal preparation on government contracts
  • 5+ years of experience working with Commercial Contracts
  • 3+ years of experience working with suppliers in a technical capacity

Summary pay range:

Senior (4): $110,500 - $136,500

Lead (5): $128,350 – $158,550
