What We'll Bring:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on infrastructure automation and management in a Linux-based environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure to support our development and production systems. This role requires deep expertise in Linux systems, automation tools, and cloud platforms.

What You'll Bring:

• Infrastructure Design & Management
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Linux-based servers and services across on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Implement infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions for repeatable and automated deployments.
• Automation & CI/CD
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.
  • Automate system provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.
• Monitoring & Performance
  • Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues proactively.
• Security & Compliance
  • Ensure infrastructure adheres to security best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Manage access controls, patching, and vulnerability remediation.
• Collaboration
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure smooth integration between applications and infrastructure.
  • Provide guidance and support for DevOps best practices across the organization.
  • join the on call rotation for supporting off hours

Required Qualifications

• Technical Expertise
  • College Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in Linux administration (Redhat).
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
• Cloud & Networking
  • Experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
• Scripting & Programming
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python).
• Soft Skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Impact You'll Make:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-availability and disaster recovery strategies.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., ISO, SOC2, and PCI).
• Familiarity with observability tools and performance tuning.

This is a remote position which may require occasional in-person attendance at work-related events at the discretion of management.
