Job Duties:
- Perform manual/physical labor tasks such as hand packing/stacking, inspection, rework & sort operations as needed
- Able to follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good housekeeping guidelines. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements
- Able to identify and understand customer requirements
- Teamwork and compliance with plant policies and procedures
- Attendance is an essential function and as well on time to work. In addition, ability willing to work weekends, OT as needed to meet our customer demands
- Training other partners as needed or requested by leadership
- Other duties as assigned by leader
Physical Demands:
- Case Packing/Stacking
- General Sanitation tasks
- Stand up to 12 hours per day
- Lift/Carry up to 55 pounds
- Work in cold, hot or wet environment
- Ability to lift and reach shoulder height and above repetitively frequently
Rate of Pay:
- $21.11 per hour ($19.61 plus $1.50 per hour certification pay)
- Additional $0.50 per hour for working second shift hours.
- Additional $1.00 per hour for working third shift hours.
Shift/Schedule:
- 1st Shift (6 am to 2 pm)
- 2nd Shift (2 pm to 10 pm)
- 3rd Shift (10 pm to 6 am)
Overtime is expected and weekend work is common. Overtime is paid on 8+ hours in a day, time and half paid on Saturdays and double time paid on Sundays. Work week also includes a guaranteed 40 hours.
