As the Workday Privacy and Security Manager, specializing in Workday Security design, you will have a significant impact on safeguarding the organization's data and maintaining privacy standards within Workday. Your main responsibility will be to craft and implement security governance principles and security roles specific to Workday, monitor compliance, and provide guidance to internal partners. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure the protection of critical information and mitigate risks related to data.
Key Responsibilities:
· Support the development of Workday-specific protocols, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
· Collaborate with partners to assess data privacy risks to identify vulnerabilities, and implement appropriate controls to mitigate potential threats.
· Supervise data privacy compliance, conduct regular audits, and provide recommendations for improvement.
· Provide mentorship and training to employees on principles, policies, procedures.
· Stay updated with evolving data privacy regulations, trends, and new technologies to proactively address potential risks and ensure compliance.
· Collaborate with IT teams to implement technical safeguards within Workday, including encryption methods, access controls, and other security measures to protect critical data.
· Provide basic system configuration for Security roles within the Workday testing tenants.
· Respond to data and security incidents within Workday promptly, conducting investigations, implementing corrective actions, and communicating with relevant partners.
· Nurture a culture of data privacy awareness within the organization by promoting standard processes, raising awareness through training programs, and ensuring accountability across the platform.
Job Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience relating to privacy and security applications.
Knowledge of data protection principles, privacy laws, industry standards.
· Demonstrable understanding of information security practices, risk assessment methodologies, incident response procedures within Workday, and basic knowledge of Workday Security configuration.
· Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate sophisticated concepts related to diverse audiences.
· Strong analytical approach with the ability to assess risks within Workday, analyze data breaches or incidents specific to the platform, and recommend appropriate actions.
· Familiarity with Workday's data management systems or tools for supervising data compliance is a plus.
