Job Summary:

As the Journey Specialist II, Growth & Journey Marketing, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day development and execution of email marketing campaigns as well as other direct to consumer digital marketing channels, to drive multichannel acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, detail-oriented, and creative. This is a highly collaborative and hands-on role, requiring the ability to execute at the campaign and journey level while also driving toward “big picture” goals and objectives.

*This role is hybrid, based out of Washington, DC, New York, NY, or Chicago, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute targeted campaigns across multiple channels, including email, sms, push, and digital advertising to drive customer acquisition and retention
  • Work with Growth & Journey marketing team members and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of campaigns, develop audiences and creative, and identify strategic growth opportunities by leveraging data and insights.
  • Prioritize and evangelize multi-channel, journey orchestration strategies
  • Help guide and develop other analysts.
  • Utilize customer data and segmentation to personalize messaging and increase relevance
  • Conduct ongoing A/B testing to optimize campaigns and increase the effectiveness of marketing programs.
  • Develop strong working relationships and collaborate with internal and external partners and product owners to understand and translate their vision into actionable business requirements.
  • Analyze campaign performance. Provide recommendations and apply learnings to optimize future campaign performance
  • Maintain thorough documentation of campaigns and processes and contribute towards process optimization and opportunity identification
  • Act as subject matter expert and communicate performance results, strategy, and make recommendations to internal partners. Contribute to business reviews
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices
  • Other projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant email marketing experience using platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Cheetah Digital, Braze, Movable Ink, Validity, etc.
  • Hands on knowledge of end-to-end email and digital marketing concepts and processes, including but not limited to campaign set up and deployment, copywriting, design, audience targeting and segmentation, deliverability, CRM best practices, QA, A/B testing, and legal compliance
  • Demonstrable aptitude for achieving conceptual understanding of complex strategies and processes
  • Proficiency in HTML coding, with knowledge of strategies and techniques to enable personalization through coding such as AMPscript in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Dreamweaver, or comparable tools
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and changing requirements, with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly detail-oriented, data-driven, self-starter, innovative and analytical
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record of achieving results in a matrixed environment
  • Demonstrable aptitude for learning new skills, programs, and processes
  • Strong organization and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • SQL knowledge, with the ability to interpret and manipulate code
  • Experience in the Insurance, Financial Services, Telecom or other subscription-based businesses


 

Annual Salary

$102,000.00 - $168,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
