GENERAL SUMMARY
Under general direction of the Parking Operations, Field Support Supervisor, provides support and general oversight of all field operations such as parking inventory control, facility cleanliness, and the parking guest experience while providing direct leadership to the contracted staff for the Courtesy Patrol and Clean teams.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees all activities related to the field team operations including occupancy management, facility condition and readiness, guest experience, and contracted teams.
- Provides first-line decisions on exceptions to standard operating procedures within delegated limits.
- Direct oversight, calibration, and management of the Airports parking occupancy status software and systems such as the Indect Parkway and the C3 communications portal.
- Assigns daily shift assignments and related equipment to field support staff, including contracted staff.
- Submits workorders to the Integrated Operations Center related to parking facility repairs, including the parking guidance system, lighting or electrical outages, and customer facing directional signage.
- Conducts shift turnover briefings from preceding lead regarding daily performance and current operational conditions.
- Assist supervisors and managers with coordinating requests and communicating updates to the IOC, DPS, and EOC during irregular operations.
- Confers with supervisors and managers on processes and policies related to field operations; makes recommendations for changes.
- Ensures custodial, maintenance, comfort, and ambiance standards are maintained by monitoring, reporting, and following through on all discovered and reported issues.
- Leads efforts in the planning and execution of special events and projects related to parking management.
- Conducts daily physical inventory of Board equipment including vehicles, two-way radios, battery jump packs, and cleaning equipment.
- Actively supports and contributes to the Airport’s Key Results and Beliefs.
- Assists the Environmental Affairs Department in performing field observations of Airport activities with respect to potential environmental issues and notifies the Environmental Affairs Department of any observations that may have environmental impact.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of high school curriculum or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of experience in a customer service environment.
- Possession of a valid Class C driver's license.
- Two (2) years of driving experience
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to communicate clearly using a two-way radio or by phone
- Ability to effectively complete reports and other written documentation.
- Ability to deal with guest complaints and resolve differences in a courteous, tactful manner.
- Ability to schedule the work of employees to assure adequate coverage of parking field activities.
- Ability to set and communicate goals that inspire the commitment of others.
- Ability to motivate employees and provide opportunities to challenge employees’ capabilities.
- Ability to develop, refine and seek improvements to processes and procedures.

- Ability to train personnel in job requirements and procedures.
- Ability to work shift assignments, including rotating shifts as assigned.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multi assignments and conflicting deadlines.
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of parking control systems, procedures, and inventory equipment.
- Experience working in a 24/7-operation environment.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
- This is a designated safety sensitive position as defined in DFW Airport’s Drug and Alcohol Administrative Policy and Procedure. Applicants selected for this position will be required to pass a drug test prior to employment and to submit to drug screening on a random basis during the length of their employment in the safety sensitive position.
- Must have good private driving record, defined as; (a) no more than two (2) convictions of moving violations in the last 36 months; and (b) no DWI convictions in the last 60 months.

- Works within Terminal Parking garages, uncovered surface lots and an office environment.
- Walks and stands for extended periods of time.
- Maintains frequent visibility in the operating field.
- Uses keyboard devices and computer monitors.
- Communicates by telephone, in person and in writing.
- Drives to locations on and off airport property.
