JR57945 PDE Product Integration Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
  • Lead and work with external contract manufacturers (CM) within Asia region, namely Malaysia, China and Taiwan. 
  • Provide engineering support, handle day-to-day operational issues providing technical leadership to contract manufacturers (CM) to drive factory performance, mainly focusing on new product introduction and post-ramp qualifications.  
  • Develop and monitor process and engineering metrics to ensure stability, efficiency and effectiveness of contract manufacturers (CM) on all new product launches. 
  • Manage the development of assembly processes and solutions to meet the new production needs of the company. 
  • Lead and liaise with internal customers to plan, implement, and review the results of engineering activities for new product start-ups. 
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and production groups to ensure process, infrastructure and system readiness for new product introduction as well as high-volume manufacturing in contract manufacturer (CM) sites. 
  • Drive continuous improvement projects in subcon manufacturing processes to improve yield, operational efficiency and productivity. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • At least 6 years of experience in Electronics Industry
  • Able to manage PCBA builds from SMT to backend process and understand SMT process from front of line to routing process.
  • Able to work remotely at Subcon sites across Malaysia, Taiwan & China.
