Our team is responsible for design, development, and operations of large-scale data systems operating at petabytes scale. We focus on real-time indexing pipelines, web crawling, streaming analytics, distributed machine learning infrastructure. We interact with multiple teams across the company to provide scalable robust technical solutions.
What you'll do:
Development: Design, code, test, and debug Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver robust solutions. Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
Feature Implementation: Implement new features and enhance existing functionalities based on project requirements.
Bug Fixing and Optimization: Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues, and optimize performance for a seamless user experience.
API Integration: Integrate with external APIs and third-party libraries to enhance application functionality.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation related to the design, implementation, and maintenance of Android applications.
Testing: Write and execute unit tests to ensure the reliability and stability of the codebase.
Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest developments in Android technology and incorporate best practices into the development process.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an Android Developer with 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
Proficient in Kotlin programming languages. Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
Knowledge of MVVM/Clean architecture/Coroutines.
Good on fragments/Identifying memory leaks.
Aware of fragments and activity life cycle methods and other android basic concepts.
Should know how different views work in android good knowledge about functioning and usage of recycler view in layout.
Experience with RESTful APIs, web services integration, and asynchronous programming.
Knowledge of graphQL an added advantage Data structure - aware of most of the data structures and solve problems related to sort, search merge and other commonly used data structures.
Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git. Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and design patterns.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
