Job Description

Position Summary

The Credit Controller Analyst II is responsible for managing credit risk and collecting outstanding customer payments for the North America region. The role focuses on maintaining healthy customer accounts, minimizing financial risk, improving cash flow, and ensuring compliance with company credit policies through effective credit analysis and collections management

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of high-complexity customer accounts.
  • Monitor customer payments, credit limits, and compliance with payment terms.
  • Perform collection activities and maintain accurate records in company systems.
  • Track and resolve unapplied or unidentified payments.
  • Investigate credit notes, debit notes, and cash application issues.
  • Negotiate payment plans with customers.
  • Coordinate with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to resolve account issues.
  • Ensure invoices are correctly delivered through customer portals or email.
  • Manage customer and company billing systems.
  • Prepare reports, statements, and account-related documentation.
  • Escalate uncollectible accounts for legal or third-party collection actions.
  • Support team training and provide guidance on process-related questions.
  • Update process documentation, SOPs, and job aids when required.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities (PPI).
  • Participate in local and global departmental projects.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

Minimum Requirements / Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working in a Shared Service Center environment.
  • English proficiency at B2+ level or higher.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience using at least one ERP system (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, BAAN, QAD, Intuitive, Mainframe, etc.).

Additional Desirable Requirements

  • Experience with Cforia.
  • Experience creating, generating, and analyzing reports.
