INVESTOR MARKETING MANAGER

Focus on growing our online fundraising program

Independent Women’s Forum and Voice are seeking an investor impact marketer to manage our small-dollar fundraising programs. The ideal candidate has several years of experience at advocacy/nonprofit organizations, digital fundraising firms, political campaigns, and/or party committees, and who understands all facets of building a robust, sustainable online program. This position requires a tech-savvy individual who has strong copywriting and strategy skills. She will work closely with marketing and investor relations departments to actively prospect new small-dollar donors.

As the first Investor Marketing Manager at IW, this is an incredible opportunity to make a huge impact and drive new and repeat donors that facilitate the launch of programs and campaigns, and take them to the next level.

Types of Activities Include: 

  • Manage the growth of small-dollar online fundraising programs.
  • Coordinate the development of prospecting email, SMS/MMS, landing page, and ad copy.
  • Strategize and implement paid media small-dollar prospecting campaigns, Synthesizing our daily impact and rapid response communications to prospecting lists.
  • Keep high focus on prospecting to get new small dollar donors in the door, but also communicate wins.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of online cultivation and stewardship communications and direct solicitations.
  • Create weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports of revenue and other relevant KPIs.
  • Monitor the news and provide timely and innovative digital engagement and fundraising ideas
  • Proof and assure the quality of all digital fundraising-related content before launch.

  • Drive communication prospecting outreach that drives home the unique value and impact of IW business objectives, how we’re making an impact, and where we are having measurable results.
  • Ensure prospecting outreach both brackets (forward planning) and responds to activities that are high impact.
  • Reach the right target prospect donor audiences through list development and buying that give.
  • Increase brand awareness through prospecting strategies 

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent communicator, problem solver, and creative and strategic thinker, able to keep track of many moving parts with competing deadlines
  • Strong copywriting and analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet fast-paced deadlines
  • Minimum two to four years related experience at advocacy/nonprofit organizations, a firm engaged in online fundraising, political campaigns, and/or a party committee
  • Experience with WinRed, Donately, Anedot, Revv for data integration and reporting is a plus
  • Experience with CRMs, and P2P/SMS delivery services is a plus
