Job Description:

DXC continues to significantly expand our SAP business in the UK and in Europe and are looking for a SAP Logistics MM Functional Consultant to be part of our team.

Our SAP Functional Consultants work directly with both clients and internal teams in a project environment to gather and analyse business requirements for the support and configuration of their specific SAP module(s). Works to understands the businesses functional area and participates in the configuration of product, implementation, maintenance and/or enhancement of SAP modules to align with business requirements. Participates in problem identification and assists in developing solutions. Experience of S4 and associated SAP S4 migration programmes in relation to own functional area would be preferred.

Due to the nature of our client accounts, security clearance is required for this role and as such the criteria for this is that you will be a British National who has lived and worked consecutively in the UK for the last 5 years. We are unable to consider dual nationals and candidates with OCI cards at this time.

We are looking for individuals with significant experience of managing client stakeholders as well as individuals with full project lifecycle from proposal response, solutioning and planning, mobilising, leading and execution of SAP module implementation. Individual would need to be confident operating in a project team environment and a client led environment. We are a virtual first company so you will be based at home with minimal travel.

Essential Job Functions

  • Gathers and analyses user business requirements and processes. Understands client requirements, needs, and functionality of the ECC and S/4 product module. Defines and documents business requirements and validates solutions with the client.

  • Works with business users to configure the module to translate business requirements into functional design specifications. Defines initial settings, module-relevant security settings and reporting options.

  • Understands processes and reporting requirements and user interfaces impacted by the ECC/S/4 system. Identifies modifications and recommends and applies changes as appropriate.

  • Provides ongoing SAP functional system support. Communicates and interacts with technical team and client to resolve functional issues to meet client requirements.

  • Typical output for the position though not exhaustive would be Requirements Traceability Matrix, Business Process Blueprint, Configuration Documentation, Functionality Specification, Test Scripts, Training Guides.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience of ERP business solutions, business analysis or management analysis experience. S/4 experience would be particularly valuable.

  • Experience assisting users with business process changes and improvement initiatives

  • Though this role is a home based position there may be requirements to travel infrequently to client sites as projects require.
