Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits team at Marsh. This role will be based in Tauranga. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:

  • Drive business growth by consistently exceeding revenue and retention targets, ensuring the continuous expansion of the book of business
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance client coverage by offering additional insurance solutions
  • Efficiently manage the underwriting process for additional insurance applications, ensuring timely completion
  • Provide expert advice and tailored insurance solutions to SME and Retail clients, specifically in relation to Key Person and Shareholder cover
  • Foster mutually beneficial relationships with other Brokers, leveraging these connections to maximise business opportunities
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, safeguarding the company's reputation and interests
  • Contribute to the achievement of the company's profit objectives by effectively managing revenue and expense budgets

What you need to have:

  • New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) (Life, Disability, and Health Insurance)
  • At least 3 years of proven sales and life insurance advisory experience in the personal insurance space
  • Proven ability to recognise opportunities to generate new revenue and opportunities
  • Proven sales and life insurance advisory experience in the personal insurance space
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team
  • Possess thorough working knowledge of all aspects of Insurance and other relevant legislation and keep abreast of all new developments
