Clerical and administrative support for the office staff. Under general supervision performs day-to-day tasks to maintain records of financial transactions. This position works under general supervision; performs routine calculating, posting and verifying duties; may perform supervisory duties. Scans documents.

Daily Operations

· Administrative and clerical support for the office staff

· Performs day to day tasks to maintain records of financial transactions including scanning &

indexing of documents in the Banner Document Management System BDMS

· Occasionally reconcile bank statements and prepares and posts journal entries

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills

· Demonstrated knowledge of office procedures and proficiency in various PC based word processing and spreadsheet applications to include Microsoft Word, Excel.

· Effective verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong composition and editing skills.

· Good organization and time management skills.

· Ability to understand and work with basic accounting reports such as expense reports and budget.

· Ability to provide good customer service and work effectively on team projects

Required Education and Experience

High School Diploma, specialized training in bookkeeping or two years of related work experience.
