TransUnion Consumer Interactive is looking for exceptional talent to join our Enterprise Data Warehouse team. We are a dynamic, talented, and passionate team looking for highly talented individuals. We design, develop and support our data warehouse and complementary data marts. The various data assets collected and housed in our platform provide data on consumers across a multitude of dimensions such as raw data, sub segment level data and time series data. Our current environment handles billions of records and provides data to support the transactional and analytic needs of our executive stakeholder.
The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver, resourceful in getting things done, and productive working independently and collaboratively. They have an ability to break large complex problems into manageable pieces, dig through large volumes of data, and will apply component oriented micro services architecture as the position level demands. Candidate will exhibit a solid understanding of object oriented concepts along with strong SQL and scripting skills.

What You'll Bring:

How You'll Contribute:

• Independently conduct quality assurance testing and analysis to ensure data warehouse systems function properly and results adhere to business standards and end user requirement
• Perform verification of our ETL programs
• Participate in application and database design reviews to develop test plans, conditions and cases used in testing
• Effectively document all results and any problems resulting from the testing of database systems Work with a small team to manage our releases and deployments

What You'll Bring:

• Understanding of concepts and applications of quality assurance testing and ability to perform all functions required in quality assurance testing
• Experience with SQL and database concepts
• Experience with Oracle and shell scripting in a Linux environment
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence analytics tools such as TIBCO Spotfire, Tableau, Kapow, Altosoft. Excel
• Desire to contribute and become a subject matter expert
• Your aptitude and enthusiasm for problem solving and issue resolution
• A keen attention to detail
• Initiative and ability to handle multiple priorities with excellent time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines, goals and objectives

Necessary Competencies

• Experience working in Linux environment
• Sound knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL
• Scripting experience with Shell and Python
• Experience with Ab Initio

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
