The main objective for the team is to build state of the art governance software for Boards and Leadership teams. As our new member, you will work with a group of enthusiastic and experienced team members. Together with your team, you will be responsible for ideation, design and delivery of new product features, enhancements and supporting the enterprise product.
Your role and responsibilities
As a Product Owner, your focus will be designing, developing and implementing features and improvements to the product. You will work closely with your local colleagues as well as with Nasdaq teams in other countries.
Leads the efforts of the scrum team to plan releases and sprints, inclusive of product features, technical initiatives, production support issues as well as release and operational support
Participates actively in team activities (e.g., sprint planning and sprint reviews) to drive team alignment on product vision and value delivery
Works closely with the cross functional team across the Business to gain a strong understanding of the overall business strategy, objectives and goals to participate in the execution of product strategy
Gathers requirements from internal stakeholders, clients & partners to be converted into user stories.
Prioritizes the body of work for the scrum team to best meet the objectives of your stories
Writes and manages the backlog of user stories
Supports the testing process, reviews results, identifies bottlenecks, & provides guidance on solutions & priority
Supports our front line teams by helping to create training materials, and by speaking directly to clients/partners to demonstrate features and enhancements.
Becomes adept in the practice of Governance as it applies to tools needed to conduct an effective board meeting from prep through follow up
We do expect you to have the following as a minimum for this role;
At least 3 years of experience in Product Development for Software using Agile Methodology
Experience incorporating AI into product development daily activities
The ability to take the Initiative and to work independently across technical/internal and Client Success teams
Strong communication skills to articulate the business proposition and gather insights across user types.
The capability to learn quickly, dive in and become familiar with product features and functionality, anticipate questions and over-deliver.
Demonstrated ability to own end-to-end processes and prioritize within
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
The willingness to work extended hours to accommodate clients and Team Members in other regions
CSPO or other similar certification
It would be great if you have:
Experience in Governance tools
Experience using AI prototyping tools
Experience in corporate information security best practices
