How you will create an impact

As a Pre-Injury Consultant, you are a market differentiating, respected resource known for your deep technical expertise and/or ability to guide clients in the return to work process and in medical management coordination.  Working with Client Services, Claims and Underwriting, you support and educate clients in understanding and optimizing AIG’s medical management programs and you identify opportunities to customize programs and integrate them into the claims process.  Duties you would perform include:

  • Develop and provide reports to assist clients in understanding their medical management results and performance.
  • Train client staff in the use of medical management tools to optimize results.
  • Conduct face to face meetings with clients to consult on return to work programs, improve First Notice of Loss timing, improve medical management programs, and enroll clients in beneficial medical programs.
  •  Provide medical panels, cards, directories and other information to take full advantage of medical management programs.
  • Act as liaison with clients, claims staff, client engagement and underwriting in provider nominations and claims inquiries.

What you will need to succeed

  • A proven track record and experience in Workers’ Compensation claims.
  • Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and negotiation skills.
  • 5+ years experience in client consulting and education for workers’ compensation programs.
  • 5+ years experience presenting in client face to face meetings
  • 5+ years experience in report and trend development

For positions based in Los Angeles, the base salary range is $73,000 - $92,000. In addition, the position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
