WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Business Process professional to support Nike’s Global Consumer, Product, Brand and Marketplace organization by enabling strategic priorities through User Research and Business Process Management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in ambiguous environments, demonstrates curiosity and the willingness to learn to build and identify work charters to support these initiatives. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON

At Nike, it is imperative that we serve our internal athletes through user research and business process mapping. Your goal will be to help visualize the user needs in order to reimagine the way we work.

  • Identify and facilitate cross functional process improvement and transformational processes leveraging business process management techniques such as Lean/Six Sigma to support improved operational efficiency and performance.
  • Identify, develop, prioritize, and execute process improvement opportunities utilizing continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Identify key metrics and measurements to ensure process improvement.
  • Recommend process governance requirements for adoption.
  • Provide communication and training to teams and functional areas to assist in hand-off and implementation and maintenance of process improvement activities.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, mitigate risks, resolve issues and provide key performance indicators and project status.
  • Identify, communicate and correct gaps in process performance and provide recommendation and guidance to address these gaps.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • A strong desire to learn and work through highly ambiguous situations.
  • Bachelors degree in related field or a combination of relevant education, experience, and training. 4+ years of Lean, Six Sigma or related process improvement experience, preferably in the Retail industry with a strong digital experience.
  • Previous working knowledge of process mapping and design, Design Thinking techniques and project management software.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple stakeholders
  • A high level of organization in all things you do
  • An ability to network and work cross functionally
  • Creative and innovative thinker, able to problem solve in the moment
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and creative environment
  • Ability to work independently
