Job Description

Our paid Software Development Internship typically lasts 6 months. During this time, you will deep dive into a software development environment and learn modern development techniques while working with one of our teams.

You will collaborate with full-time employees and industry professionals, contributing to the improvement of existing products in an Agile environment.

Throughout the internship, you will gain experience across several areas of software engineering. This experience will include the full development lifecycle, Agile methodology, system design, test-driven development, test automation, and build and configuration management.

You will also be assigned a dedicated mentor who will support you in navigating Rockwell, help you ramp up in the codebase, and remove any daily blockers.

This paid hybrid, part-time role reports to the Senior Manager, Research & Development. You will start your internship in July 2026, and you will work onsite in Czech Republic, Prague, for 20 hours per week.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language: RUST, C/C++, or Python
• Interest in RUST programming language - either to improve or to learn
• Czech and English language proficiency
• Active Student Status
• Legal work and stay permits in Czech Republic.
• Availability to work 20 hours per week

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Basic knowledge of RUST
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
• Edge/cloud communication, containerized software services.
• Final-year student status of a technical university in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
