COMPENSATION

Hourly Minimum - Maximum

$23.00 - $31.00

Our Client Accounts department is seeking a detailed- oriented Advanced Client Representative.

This position will be responsible to provide clerical support to Vice President of Client Accounts by carrying out a wide variety of responsibilities, some of which include handling client inquiries and concerns, assisting with client family accounts, contract entry, running queries and integrity reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Professional demeanor, appearance and attitude are required in this position. 
  • Daily contract entry including processing complicated transactions related to contracts like property exchanges/trade-ins, funeral policies and funeral goods/services for at-need contracts.
  • Answer phone calls including inter departmental and external calls from clients.
  • Preparation of funeral conversion worksheet and quoting equities.
  • Work with other departments, such as Advance Planning and Memorial Counseling regarding client family accounts.  
  • Respond to inquiries regarding accounts via telephone, in person, e-mail, or mail in an accurate and expedient manner.
  • Ability to address client family concerns with compassion and empathy in a timely manner. Seek guidance as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Teams, Power Point, Outlook and operating a PC. Intermediate to advance Excel skills is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in data entry and/or office experience preferred.
  • Ability to become proficient in specialized systems such as HMIS.
  • Perform the responsibilities and all related duties in a safe, legal, and ethical manner.
  • Must be a team player, flexible and detail oriented with excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment is required.
  • Ability to convey a respectful and empathetic demeanor to client families. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of all material and data.
  • Valid California Drivers License

DRUG TESTING POLICY

Prior to beginning employment, all job applicants who receive a job offer will be required to voluntarily submit to a drug screening test conducted by a laboratory designated by Forest Lawn. The drug screening method is a hair collection test that will detect the use of illegal drugs within the past 90 days. A positive drug test may result in the withdrawal of the job offer.
