This role is part of Alcon's Information Technology function, a team that delivers cutting-edge technology solutions to Alcon associates and customers to help our people and the world see brilliantly.

Key Responsibilities:

The Sr. Associate I, Security Assessment & Risk Management (Professional Path), is primarily responsible for assisting with security risk assessments and implementing strategies to mitigate security threats. You will focus on identifying potential security risks, conducting assessments, and supporting risk mitigation efforts across the organization. Specifics include:

• Assist in conducting security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and gaps in security protocols.
• Document security assessments, track the status of mitigation efforts, and report findings to senior staff
• Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies and security improvements, working with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of security measures and address identified risks
• Provide support in the development and maintenance of security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
• Provide input on improvements to security practices and risk management processes
• Make decisions on routine tasks related to risk assessments and mitigation efforts, escalating complex issues to senior team members
• Perform various other duties or special projects as requested based on team objectives.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

• Exhibits strong personal integrity, handles confidential matters with professionalism, and displays sound judgment and maturity.
• Customer orientated and able to communicate well with both IT and Business organizations.
• Experience with Vendor Risk Management and / or IT Security Risk Assessments.
• Must be able to effectively complete security assessments and other required tasks
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
• Must be capable of effectively evaluating different components of an information system and infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

• 4 to 7 years of total experience with university degree in business/technical/scientific area or comparable education/experience.
• 2+ years of experience in business information security and compliance and or vendor risk management.

Preferred Licenses / Certifications:

• Professional information security certification, such as CISSP, CISM or ISO 27001 auditor / practitioner or
• Professional (information system) risk or audit certification such as CIA, CISA or CRISC.

Work hours: 1 PM to 10 PM IST
